No Needle Acupuncture for Children, traditionally known as “Sho Ni Shin”, is a specialised paediatric treatment for infants and children. These techniques are gentle and non-invasive, and involve rhythmic tapping, stroking and pressing the skin at strategic Acupuncture points using a number of blunt instruments.
These techniques produce different kinds of gentle stimulation, help to balance the child’s internal energy and strengthen their constitution.
No Needle Acupuncture for Children may be able to assist with regulating and maintaining health, improving growth and encouraging development and can be use in conjunction with Chinese Herbal Medicine.
No Needle Acupuncture (Sho Ni Shin) is suitable for children between zero and 12 years of age, and consults typically go for between 30 - 45 minutes.
