| Melissa Wilson Dip.Adv.TCM,Cert.TCM(China),AACMA Melissa has studied Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the ‘Perth Academy of Natural Therapies’ where she graduated in 2004 with an Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She furthered her clinical experience and training with an internship at the Zhejiang TCM Hospital in Hangzhou, China, where she had the privilege to work under highly regarded TCM doctors and heads of department and was awarded a Certificate of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Melissa is also certified by Dr Soma Glick in Sho Ni Shin a specialised oriental paediatric technique for infants and children. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, she for many years lived and worked as a teacher in Japan. Her interest and fascination for Acupuncture arose from first hand experiencing the efficacy of treatment as well as witnessing many friends achieving successful outcomes using Traditional Chinese Medicine for fertility issues. This inspired Melissa to return to Australia to study Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Melissa, mother of two, brings her warmth, empathy and commitment to working with adults and children of all ages for a wide and comprehensive range of conditions. She has extensive experience and has undergone further studies and training with well known specialists in the areas of pregnancy, childbirth, fertility, and all aspects of women’s health including menopause.
Melissa is passionate about supporting couples in their fertility process from pre-conception to pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum, empowering them with knowledge and practical tools throughout their journey.
