| Florian Schulze Cert.Osteo.HP.(Germany)Memb.AOA |
Florian graduated, after 5 years full-time study, from GCOM (German College of Osteopathic Medicine), a branch of College Sutherland, one of Europe’s oldest and most renown osteopathic educational institutions. Florian also holds a German Heilpraktiker certificate, is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association (AOA) and is registered with the Osteopaths' Registration Board of WA.
Florian has a medical background ranging from serving mandatory civil service as a geriatric nurse, to working in various hospital departments during a course of study to become a medical doctor. He left his medical studies to follow his interest in art and worked for 12 years as a professional stone and wood sculptor. Osteopathy proved to be an invaluable therapy for Florian to remedy the physical strain which resulted from working with heavy sculptures. This revived his interest in the medical field, especially holistic medicine, and inspired him to study Osteopathy. Florian recently immigrated to Western Australia and lives locally with his wife, daughter and newborn son.
Florian’s treatment approach is varied and versatile ranging from direct structural Osteopathy techniques to Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy and visceral techniques. Florian is warm and empathetic and enjoys working with people, treating adults, children of all ages as well as babies. What Florian appreciates about Osteopathy is its sound scientific basis and its wide range of clinically effective techniques, which enable him to skilfully tailor treatment according to each person’s unique needs in order to restore health on all levels of being. |
