Danielle has studied Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine at the 'Perth Academy of Natural Therapies' where she graduated in 2003 with a Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as winning an award for 'Most Consistent Achievement'. Since then, Danielle has been practising in various clincial settings and has lectured in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (ACNM) in Perth. Danielle is also a certified practitioner of Cosmetic Acupuncture. She is a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Assocation.

Coming from a family background of western medicine, she held an avid interest in health and healing since early childhood, often able to spontaneously perceive the physical and emotional pains of people around her. It was not until she experienced a personal health challenge in her teens for which she sought out a practitioner of Traditonal Chinese Medicine, that she instantanously recognized that this form of medicine fit the calling she had felt since being a child.

Danielle explored several forms of energy healing such as Reiki and Qigong, and prior to practising Traditional Chinese Medicine worked for many years as a massage therapist in both clinical and corporate settings. Danielle is currently also engaged in completing her Bowen Therapy qualifications.

It is the richness and depth of Danielle's background in hands-on healing work as well as her innate sensitivity to perceive causes of dis-ease in body, mind and spirit that inform and enhance her clinical application of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Danielle is both academically astute and intuitively gifted and her sincere dedication to the wellbeing of her patients on all levels, make her an excellent practitioner and a much valued team member of The Healing Point.
