A highly skilled Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Melissa is adept at using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modalities to strategically treat a wide selection of health conditions.
Melissa has a balanced and respectful appreciation of western medicine and how eastern modalities can be applied to support and enhance medical systems, particularly in the area of fertility, pregnancy and women’s health.
Prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Melissa received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and spent 8 years in Japan teaching English.
It was here that her interest and fascination for Acupuncture arose from first hand experiencing the efficacy of treatment as well as witnessing many friends achieving successful outcomes using TCM for fertility issues.
This inspired her to return to Australia to study Traditional Chinese Medicine.
